The municipal enterprise "Mykolaivelectrotrans" has received two modern forklifts from international donors. The equipment was handed over to the enterprise by the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych.
The machines are capable of lifting loads of up to 10 and 15 tons, and they were provided to the city by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). The equipment will be used for unloading machinery and conducting repair works, significantly reducing the time required for these tasks.
I would like to thank our helpers, the people who help us survive during the war and also to restore the city of Mykolaiv. These machines will serve our enterprise and the residents well.
Oleksandr Sienkevych, Mykolaiv City Mayor
The mayor reminded that all aid from international partners is not financial but comes to the city exclusively in the form of goods and services. No funds from the local budget are spent on this.
