Recently, Mykolaiv received humanitarian aid in the form of heaters from the Solidarity charitable foundation and Leroy Merlin Ukraine. Following the latest attack by the Russian army on Mykolaiv’s central heating plant, which left around 100,000 people without heating in freezing temperatures of -10°C, the foundation stepped in to support the city and its residents.

Earlier, during the first International Forum, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Solidarity foundation.
As part of the assistance, the benefactors provided 104 Japanese Zibro heaters, designed to heat spaces ranging from 55 to 120 square meters. These heaters run on liquid fuel but feature an electric ignition powered by batteries. Additionally, 1,545 liters of fuel were supplied along with the heaters.
The humanitarian aid will be added to the city's material reserve and distributed as needed to those in urgent need.
