Report on on the Use of Humanitarian Aid from January to April 2024 Published

Published on 04.10.2024

Since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion, Mykolaiv has received significant aid
from international donors. The more aid, the more urgent became the need to coordinate
and control its use.

To address this, a special Headquarters was established in the city to receive and distribute aid, and a package of regulatory acts was developed to regulate and streamline the procedures for handling it.

Responsibility for verifying the proper use of the received aid was assigned to the Department of Internal Financial Control, Oversight, and Anti-Corruption. Specialists from the department conduct inspections and compile relevant reports, which are published on the aid monitoring webportal.

A total of 36 on-site inspections were conducted, covering 11 executive body subdivisions of the Mykolaiv City Council and 25 municipal enterprises.

These inspections reviewed available humanitarian aid and ensured proper accounting, storage, and use of items such as equipment, computer technology, generators, vehicles, and building materials.

As a result of these inspections, no violations in the handling of humanitarian aid were found.

Please note that the report is available in an Excel format convenient for processing, which can be found via the link in the PDF file.
