In the morning, we held a working meeting at the city-region-UNDP level in our Recovery and Development Office.
We summarized the results of cooperation. And I am proud that we talked about specific jointly implemented initiatives. And, of course, about plans for this year.
I would like to note that we have been cooperating with UNDP since the beginning of the invasion. The main areas of cooperation include improving access to public services for Mykolaiv residents, enhancing community security, and supporting social and healthcare sectors.
Just a few examples:
With UNDP's assistance, Mykolaiv received equipment to provide free drinking water to residents.
Equipment and furniture were purchased for the Administrative Service Center in Korabelnyi district.
The Community Recovery and Development Office was equipped.
Professional courses were organized and the necessary equipment was purchased for vocational schools in Mykolaiv to train skilled workers.
We are in the process of purchasing equipment for a rehabilitation center based in one of the city hospitals.
Plans are underway to equip social adaptation centers.
The UNDP team also provided expert support in the development of the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community Development Strategy until 2027.
We are grateful to the UNDP team for their visit to Mykolaiv, systemic support of our city and belief in victory.
