Oxfam is an international association of 15 organizations operating in more than 90 countries around the world. The goal of the association is to solve problems of poverty and associated injustice all over the world. The ultimate goal of all Oxfam projects is to allow people exercise their rights and opportunities, personally control their own lives, receive decent pay for their labor etc.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Oxfam has been primarily cooperating with local Ukrainian civil society organizations that have been already providing assistance to war-affected communities. The partners ' activities focused on emergency vital help and protection in various areas: water supply and sanitation, shelter, food, cash distribution, legal aid, information and consultancy (in particular, on the risks of human trafficking and gender-based violence), mental health and psychological support, as well as various integration services (e.g. language courses or job search support).
