Where does the aid come from?

The aid comes from allied countries, donors and partners. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Mykolaiv has received support from more than 100 organizations. Among them are large international companies and local foundations. We are SINCERELY GRATEFUL to everyone who has supported supported Mykolaiv in its most terrible times and is a reliable support during the restoration period.

Who controls the utilization of the aid for its proper purpose?

A headquarters was established to coordinate the aid that enters the city. Its work is based on the approved Procedure for Monitoring at each stage of handling humanitarian and humanitarian aid in the city. Moreover, Mykolaiv became the first city to develop and implement a methodology for monitoring humanitarian and international aid. It is currently being actively used in the city.

Since the beginning of the active phase of humanitarian aid, Mykolaiv City Council has been monitoring the process of its receipt and use. At the initiative of Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych, Mykolaiv has already begun laying the foundations for a successful recovery and piloting good recovery practices that can be scaled up in other frontline cities.
