Narbonne Ukraine is a French charitable association, created in March 2022, around individuals appalled by the russian aggression and eager to assist the Ukrainian people. Initially by hosting refugee families, around 95 families, sometimes housed under their own roof, and then by rallying dozens of willing volunteers to collect funds, goods, and materials. For the refugees and those who remained in Ukraine.
The Narbonne Ukraine Association has forged bonds and provided vital assistance to Mykolaiv since the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion. 13 semi-trailers were chartered for the City of Mykolaiv: Medical Equipment, Specific Equipment, medications, clothing, foodstuffs, toys. A total of 394 pallets, equivalent to 1.8 million euros.
17 vehicles were donated (Four new ambulances, a fire rescue vehicle, a Bus, vehicles for public service transport, etc), dispatched or convoyed.
To enhance cooperation, a Memorandum of Understanding and Partnership was signed in 2023. This document envisages cooperation in the areas of humanitarian aid and economic development, education and health, culture, and art.
